Election period: Eneo campaigns... for light

.

I commend the effort of teams working around the clock to ensure continuity of service during this sensitive period. In synergy with other actors in the sector, ENEO, despite financial constraints, is playing its part in the monitoring system created for the elections period...’ said our GM, Amine Homman LUDIYE during one of the meetings of the COP'Elect, the steering committee for the coverage of the elections, which held every Monday, until October 6 when it became a daily.

Every militant campaigns for their candidate. Ours is called ‘Service Continuity’. At Eneo, daily meetings are held in all regions to deploy resources, evaluate and take action, followed by steering committee meetings at the national level.

Our militants, the soldiers of electricity, had assessed in advance the needs for improving service quality from the customer's point of view. Rapid results actions have already been implemented in six weeks: more than 226 poles replaced, 58 MV/LV transformers put back into service, and 33 localities in the dark reconnected to the grid. For the Eneo Party, although much remains to be done, some campaign promises are beginning to bear fruit. ‘Under the leadership of top management, we have set up a steering and monitoring committee to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of our actions in the field. I would like to commend the efforts of our teams, who are sparing no effort and giving their all,’ said EDOU ZOUE, Director of Regional Operations.

Eneo's decision to focus on greater service continuity has led to a reinforced on-call system for greater responsiveness and anticipation, and the acceleration of a number of priority investments. Nearly 2 billion CFA francs have been committed in six weeks, despite severe financial constraints.

On the ground, far from the political campaign, meetings are held in the silence of sometimes impenetrable vegetation, steep hills and remote villages. This is not an election campaign, but a campaign for service continuity, power stability and customer confidence. Day and night, under the scorching sun, our teams criss-cross the country, town after town, replacing rotten poles, reviving struggling transformers and turning the lights back on in villages that have been silent for too long. "We had to carry this wood pole by hand to hoist it at the top of the mountain to restore the CRTV Mora branch line,’ says one electrician.

In this power campaign, every technician is a militant for light, every truck carrying poles is a caravan of hope, and every intervention is a vote for better service quality.
