Improving of Stability of Power Supply in the South West Region
In a bid to improve the stability of power supply to its customers in the South West, Moungo and Nkam region, Eneo Cameroon S.A announces that it will carry out some major projects on its network, this Sunday, 14 May 2017, from 6 AM to 1 p.m.
The work involves installing new equipment at the Bekoko interconnect substation, repairing or changing defective components on the Logbaba-Bekoko and Bekoko Limbé lines serving these zones. The said equipment aims at improving the stability of the power system and reducing the likelihood of occurrence of incidents.
During the operations, power supply will be disrupted or interrupted in the localities concerned. .
Eneo advises all customers affected to use alternative sources of energy if necessary,
- and to unplug all delicate appliances and
- to reconnect them at least 15 minutes after the effective restoration of power.
