Dear SOCADEL customers,
Following guidelines from the Minister of Water Resources and Energy, SOCADEL is intensifying its operations to inspect electricity installations and regularise administrative as well as commercial situations across its various regions, mainly in Douala and Yaoundé.
This operation aims to help customers make their installations compliant, regularise their billing and handle any eventual complaints they could have.
Relevant customers are called upon to visit any of our agencies in order to:
- declare and regularise their electricity installations, if necessary ;
- regularise their bills pending payment ;
- get support tailored to their specific situation.
At the same time, our teams will visits households and businesses with unpaid bills or regularisation-needing situations, in order to inform, sensitise and help these customers become compliant.
In the wake of the Minister of Water Resources and Energy, it is worth recalling that paying for the electricity you consume is a civic act and obligation. Every kilowatt-hour consumed has to be paid for. Every bill paid for helps build the electricity sector, improve on service quality and increase the availability of lasting energy for everyone.
