Objectives:
- Reduce black fly nuisance in the Sanaga Basin, cause of health problems, rural exodus, and socio-economic downturn in local affected communities
- Expand this vector control program of with the MINSANTE and MINEPAT
Achievements:
- Annual treatment through the spraying of appropriate chemicals on 10 points on Sanaga river and tributaries;
- 04 treatment campaigns per year
Social Impact:
- Reduction of blackfly diseases and improvement of population health conditions;
- Slowdown rural exodus ;
- Reinforcement of education syllabus
- Development of agricultural with positive impact on local development
