Eneo Teams Power the locality of Ngambe in the Littoral Region
.
Back to Life. The works carried out were practically Herculean to rebuild several kilometres of power lines stretching between hills, dense forests, swamps and valleys. These were the many obstacles that had to be overcome in an area with no completed roads for the vehicles transporting equipment.
Consequently, Eneo staff and subcontractors had to roll up their sleeves to pull poles over 1 or 2 km uphill to reach a point where they could replace the pole… On this slope, our colleagues broke a sweat. At the top of this hill, they ultimately installed the pole, reconnecting villages. At the tail end of this superhuman effort, there was light.
Over 50 poles were replaced, and a good number of these poles were metal poles. This is the extra mile to which the teams went to restore power to this remote locality and strengthen the network.
Here are video and pictures of this obstacle course: real life stations of the cross.
